The story follows an amateur Grim Reaper as he delivers the deceased to the afterlife and deals with the accompanying challenges. His job requires maximum efficiency, but Grim decides to take time to talk with the deceased, comforting them as they struggle with the concept of death. Due to his poor time management, his job falls under fire. With a desire to maintain his job and existence as a whole, Grim desperately attempts to find a balance between his heart and his work. However, when he encounters a young boy condemned by illness, his ability to perform his job is put to the ultimate test.
